Production Process and Advantages of the Product
There are two technologies of manufacturing the fused silica ceramic crucibles, which is slip casting and gel-casting. Sinoma is the only one company in the world who masters the two different molding technologies simultaneously. The company adopted gel-casting in the production of the fused silica ceramic crucibles, but other companies generally utilize slip casting. The technical process contrast of the two technologies as below:

Due to the high original strength, it has incomparable advantages in producing the large-sized products above 900 and 1100.

Unique homogeneous structure and slightly higher porosity will make the products better thermal shock resistance and burst resistance.

Unique surface structure and appropriate surface roughness is specially suitable for spraying Si3N4, and the coating is not easy to drop off.

High precision crucible mold and its long service life, good uniformity of the crucible size, it is easy to control the wall thickness precisely and uniform thickness from top to bottom so as to have better heat distribution within the hot zone during ingot crystallization, and also to meet the requirements for crucible outer size and to improve the quality of ingots.
According to the process requirements of multi-crystalline silicon ingots, the melted poly-silicon material requires certain heat insulation from the side wall of the crucible and good heat uniformity during the crystallization, so theoretically, the thicker side wall and uniformly thickness from top to bottom will be better for the silicon ingot growth.
As the specific structure of the gel-casting crucible made a better purification effect than the slip casting crucible when it is in the crystallization process. While the raw materials at lower purity, the impurities of ingots will float up, and the quality of middle section of ingots and the lifetime will be enhanced notably.
